Here at Farmsustaina, growing the food is only half the story. The other half happens in your kitchen — and we want to see it.
Today we’re launching our first community campaign: #FarmsustainaCooks. Simple, fun, and true to what we’re all about — real food, real people, real meals.
How it works
Every time you cook with produce from our farm stand or CSA box, photograph what you made and share it on Instagram or Facebook with #FarmsustainaCooks. Tag us @farmsustaina so we can find it. That’s it.
What happens with your photos?
Each month we’ll feature our favorite submissions here on the blog in a “Community Harvest” post, and reshare the best on our Facebook and Instagram pages. The farm doesn’t end at the field gate — it continues at your stove, your grill, your kitchen table.
Need inspiration?
Try our simple garlic sautéed swiss chard recipe — 10 minutes, minimal ingredients, maximum flavour. Or grab whatever’s in your CSA box this week and improvise. Honest, imperfect, real cooking is what we love to see.
Why this matters
Small farms survive because communities choose to support them. Every share, every tag, every photo helps more people in Cary and beyond discover Farmsustaina. Learn more about why local organic farms matter.
